I ordered through DoorDash and I’m so glad that I gave this place a chance. The food is absolutely delicious. I was greeted by the two kind women in the front who had my order ready and was super nice to me. Definitely was giving those southern hospitality vibes. The mac & cheese, the mashed potatoes and the fried chicken with the honey and the hot sauce is beyond delicious. I definitely can’t wait to dine in person. Thank you so much for having my order ready and for being so friendly and kind to me.

Absolutely great first experience here! Our waitress was so sweet and knowledgeable and the food was AMAZING! We were genuinely blown away as we didn’t know what to expect it being our first time but we loved every single thing we ordered.
Fried chicken was so crispy, perfectly seasoned and cooked
mashed potatoes were so buttery and delicious
the brisket was melting in our mouth
coleslaw was so refreshing as a side
the Mac n cheese was thick and creamy with the perfect addition of béchamel sauce and breadcrumbs.
The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable, we were definitely full!!

I am a regular here, and for good reason! Sally Southern BBQ is consistently excellent and has become our family's favorite local haunt. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic flavor and a welcoming atmosphere.
The true star for my family is, without a doubt, the Smoked Gouda Mac and Cheese. My children absolutely love it—it's creamy, smoky, and the perfect side.
I stopped by recently and ordered the Chicken Mac and Cheesesteak from the lunch special menu (photo attached!). It was so delicious—the chicken was tender, perfectly seasoned, and the addition of the mac and cheese inside elevates the cheesesteak to a whole new level of comfort food perfection.
Beyond the incredible food, the ambience is great; it's always comfortable and inviting. The drinks are also pretty good!

never a horrible time or even negative to say about this place. We always get the wonderful server, Ann, she’s as sweet as they come. The food is always beyond expectations when we go. Kudos to the chef because they always always make the food out of this world. 🙏 can’t even say that we’ll be back because we always come back even before this review. But I thought I just add that this place better, not ever, close or even come close to it. I’m surprised it isn’t more busy, tbh. The food choices are so amazing. So affordable, and the amount of food that you get per plate is insane. I never get around to dessert, but one day I will!
The truth comes out
The country fried steak is delicious. The batter they use for both steak and potato wedges is great. The gravy surprisingly was enough to cover the steak once you spread it out. They have two in-house beers; the Pickle Brine Beer Pilsner and White Peach Wit. The Pickle Brine Beer is definitely an acquired taste but tastes good if you like pickles.

When we first walked in we were treated so kindly that we forgot we were in NYC for a moment! The place makes you feel like you are somewhere down south. Amazing food and service! You MUST try the blue crab beignets and the brisket!!! And the sweet tea is always must to wash it all down! 10/10 would recommend!!!!!

Food was so good !! My sister, cousin and I came here for the first time on saturday night and had an amazing experience. ALL of the food was excellent and the service was awesome our waitress was so nice and helpful when we were ordering. Our favorite was the mac and cheese (topped with bacon)! I’d also recommend the mashed potatoes, wings, pulled pork, pickle fries, etc! For dessert we got the warm chocolate chip cookie with ice cream 🙂

Exquisite lunch at Sally’s Southern!! Delicious 50/50 short rib and brisket smash burgers !! The onion-cheddar grits were extraordinary! Banana Bread Shake was perfection! We also enjoyed white peach sangria! Service, especially Nicole, our fantastic bartender, was top notch on all levels! The ambiance is southern homey. Priced perfectly as well! Thank you again PB for another extraordinary luncheon! This is NOT the average BBQ experience. Sally’s goes way beyond the usual! Sally’s Southern has truly elevated our southern dining experience.

A little pricey but absolutely worth it. Everything was delicious, obviously better if you dine in. Will definitely be back. Photo is the lobster gumbo, comes to the table in a pan. Best gumbo I've ever had. Oh and do not skip dessert! The banana pudding was delicate and the perfect end to a delicious meal!

YES! SO GOOD! I was happy to enjoy a lovely and delicious Saturday brunch here and I was super impressed. We enjoyed the cauliflower appetizer, bbq pastrami Reuben, smash burger, pulled pork, and some waffles with blueberry compote. EVERYTHING WAS GREAT! Our server was super attentive and kind. We were very thankful for all her recommendations. Give this place a try!

There Wings were fresh and amazing. We got the horseradish and hot sauce wings. The burger was tastey and big. I got the brisket. It was juicy. Nice portion and cooked perfect. We got the burnt pork ends. I prefer it crispier than the way it came out. Ann was our server. She was on point in every aspect. Beer was cold and no line taste. I'll be back!

Been here 4 times and will keep going. Sally’s never disappoints! As a Chef I can say the Food is flavorful and creative. There’s nothing I’ve had in the menu that was mediocre, everything is very delicious. The blood Orange bbq sauce my favorite sauce! I could drink it. Can’t wait to return.

I came in with a large party and high expectations after seeing all the reviews, and I must say that Sally’s Southern did not disappoint. From the aptly themed decor to the downright delicious food, I was quite satisfied with my experience.
Starting with the ambience, the entire restaurant’s southern theme is quite welcoming and is enhanced by the decor and table settings. This created an comfortable environment and contributed towards an amazing dinner.
The service was fantastic as well. Even with our large party, our waiter Jade was able to get everything right. No orders were messed up and our requests were fulfilled swiftly. Not hesitating to give us suggestions, our server also helped create an awesome dinner.
Last but not least, the food was simply amazing. Since our party was so large, we were able to see the wide variety of high-quality food that this establishment serves. Not a single one of us were disappointed with the food we ordered. The fried chicken skin is a must have, and the country-fried steak was simply divine. Each order came with a side, and every entree was quite filling. Not to be outdone by the entrees, the deserts that are served were also amazing.
Overall, I had an amazing experience at Sally’s Southern and will most definitely be returning. I highly recommend this place so if you’re in the area, be sure to check this place out.

OMG! We went here for brunch this morning. The food was AMAZING! If you're a chicken and waffles lover you have some options. We chose the Bone-in and Boneless chicken and waffles plates.
Here's some guidance, the Bone-in is 4 pieces that make the Half Chicken (breast, wing, thigh and leg). The Boneless is 3 pieces (at least for my visit) two thighs and a breast.
But check it...the seasoning is key here. The flavor is delicious for both, but the seasoning on the boneless is much more bodacious. My go-to will be boneless
The homemade sweet tea is yummy and not too sweet. Ask them about the other Mocktails, very tasty but some may be tart.
The staff was friendly, helpful and attentive! The prices are reasonable and worth every cent.
Overall, I had a great experience and will be back again soon.

The food was simply great - real, authentic and totally enjoyable. The brisket was proper and the coleslaw that came with it was the best I had in years.
The wings were fresh and crunchy, the ribs were tender, almost falling from the bones.
And don't forget the peach cobbler bread pudding to round up your meal

Wow! I was so impressed with everything here. Our waitress Jade was super friendly, as well as the rest of the staff. Food was soooo good. One of the most tender, soft, and tasty burgers I’ve ever had (French onion). The barbecue (ribs and brisket) also so delicious.

Sally’s Southern BBQ was amazing!! The Brisket was butter, the wings were very good (especially the Garlic Horseradish flavor) and the sides were excellent.. the desserts were so good, Nutty Pie was amazing!! Last but not least, service was impeccable, shout out to our waiter Jade, made our first visit not our last.

Food was delicious, drinks were Amazing. My wife had the Magnolia Margareta and I had the PB&J Old Fashioned. Chicken Skin and Cornbread for our Apps, skins were crispy and delicious, cornbread was CRACK! My wife had Fried Chicken with Mashed and ordered Collard Greens and I had the Baby Back Ribs with waffle fries and I had to order the Mac & Cheese( 1 of the best I have ever had). Service was great and we will most definitely be returning
